Betul, Swastika, Jenith and Fazila are all painting in London- uniquely bringing different lineages and references into new discovered ways of working.
Betul, based in London, who primarily works in abstract drawing and painting. My artistic practice is driven by a commitment to creating visually compelling works that also possess emotional and psychological depth. I investigate themes such as inner harmony, colour, and personal emotion, frequently drawing inspiration from nature and daily emotional experiences.
Swastika is a landscape painter from Nepal, inspired by her father. Her work reflects the natural beauty of Nepal and its rich culture. Through her paintings, she expresses her connection to her homeland and celebrates Nepalese identity.
Jenith, the current painting fragments and slices the abstracted space. The paint uses distortion and gesture to create a tension between abstraction and representation.
Fazila is a Bangladeshi-born multidisciplinary artist, singer and art entrepreneur based in London whose Sufi-influenced, intuitive practice merges painting, music, and performance into emotionally driven works.
