From 19th January until 1st February, Alicia will be in residence at the BOTH Gallery. For these two weeks she will be exhibiting items, films and photographs from her Arctic Circle Residency in April 2025 as well as making new participatory artworks based on her experience.
It includes;
- New, abstract, mixed media paintings/experiments
- Footage from the short film (in progress)
- Arctic Library and Arctic Archive - a collage/smorgasbord of photographs, objects, history, colours, textures, nature and ice in its many forms from my time in the Arctic. It also includes a number of the Communal Ships Logs written on board by my fellow adventurers as a method to document our individual and shared experience
