Join us at BOTH Gallery for A Day’s Crit! This event offers an opportunity to engage with fellow creatives and receive feedback into your work and practice. The session will be led by artists Erika Trotzig (sculptor), Lee Maelzer (painter), and Justine Hounam (BOTH Gallery Director).
Don’t miss this chance to develop your creative practice through discussion, and expand your network within the creative community!

Erika Trotzig is a London based, Swedish artist and educator, working with sculpture. She was awarded the Gilbert Bayes Award for emerging sculptors in 2023. She has participated widely in shows including most recently a duo show at Gigi Rigliaclo Gallery in Puglia, Italy. Previous highlights include a soloshow at the Stonespace and a duoshow at Fold Gallery in London in 2023. In 2021 she was selected for the Pada Studios residency in Lisbon. For several years Erika had her own clothing label, making one off, handcrafted pieces which were shown internationally.

Lee Maelzer is a London born and based artist who studied at Central St Martins College of Art and Design, London for BA Hons, (First Class), in Fine Art and the Royal College of Art, London for her Masters Degree in Fine Art, painting. Lee has exhibited widely internationally and nationally. She received the Bryan Robertson Trust Award, 2019, The Abbey Fellowship at The British School at Rome, 2004, participated twice in Bloomberg ARTFutures, was shortlisted for the East London Painting Prize, the Celeste Art Prize and twice shortlisted for the John Moores Painting Prize. Permanent collections include Zabludowicz Collection; David Roberts Collection; Queen Mary University, London, The University of the Arts Collection; Frank Cohen Collection; Calvert 22; Hudson Valley Community College and extensive private collections and much more.
Lee is a senior lecturer in Fine Art at the University of East London at BA where she also supervises at Professional Doctorate level. Other lecturing posts include BA Hons courses at Central St Martins College of Art, Winchester College of Art and City and Guilds of London Art School, visiting lecturer at Loughborough College of Art BA and on the MA at the Royal Academy Schools and the University for the Creative Arts, Farnham. www.leemaelzer.com
