"Involucro" plays on meanings of enveloping, cocooning, housing, transformation and potential, and centres on the fluid boundaries between form and metamorphosis. An installation comprising paintings alongside suspended textile sculptures creates a layered spatial dynamic. During the performative aspect of the exhibition, these artefacts will be activated through movement, reinforcing the themes of embodiment and transition.
